Welcome to the affordable townhomes in New Haven at Beechwood Gardens! Thank you for your interest. We offer two-bedroom townhomes to qualified applicants, where comfort, convenience, and affordability come together to create the perfect place to call home.

Overview of Screening Criteria:

• Satisfactory rental history. (Lack of history will not be a cause for rejection).
• No previous evictions for lease violations.
• No criminal record.
• Good credit history. (Lack of history will not be a cause for rejection).
• Demonstrated ability to pay rent.
• Must meet Student Eligibility.

How to Qualify:

       Income restrictions apply to all residents. Please contact the leasing office for more information.

       Based on the size of your household, your Maximum Annual Income must be equal to or less than the income requirements set by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and the Internal Revenue Service (IRS).

       In order to meet occupancy standards, it is important for the household size to be appropriate for the unit size available at the property. Generally, occupancy standards adhere to a two-person-per-bedroom standard.

*Exceptions may be made to the general occupancy standards if a Reasonable Accommodation is needed. For example, additional space may be provided for medical supplies or apparatuses.

Completing Your Application:
When completing the application, it is important to ensure that all sections are filled out in their entirety. In the event that certain areas do not apply to your household, please mark "no" or indicate "N/A" in those sections.

In addition to submitting this application, you will also need the following:

1. Picture ID for all adults, 18+ in the household
2. Social Security Card* for all household members
3. Birth Certificates for all household members

*If you are unable to provide a birth certificate or social security card, please contact us to discuss alternative forms of verification.

Submitting Your Application:
Once your application is completed, and you have all additional documentation, submit your application and documentation in its entirety to the Management Office.
